Stitching on the Rio Grande

This blog is dedicated to the use of stitchers along the eastern Rio Grande Valley. We invite you to discuss your projects, ask questions, compare progress, announce new opportunities, and post your photos. Above all this should be a way to communicate and have fun.

What's Stitching

I finished "Two Cottages" and started "Two Gingerbread Houses". These are really fun, but the
gingerbread tke a lot more than either the cottages or the lighthouses. I have to be here at least through the 7th and my daughter wants me to stay and take a painting class with her the 18-20th.
I haven't agreed to that yet. I miss stitching with all of you. See you someday.

ANOTHER FINISH

Finished my BIG sampler "Quaker Diamonds" by Rosewood Manor late last night. Back to my small ornaments, until I decide what next big project I will start ... I have a couple in mind -oh the joy of staring a new project just gives me a thrill - you too??? Judy

Finished the bear vests

I finished the bear vests last night. They go on the stuff bears that the club did as a group project years ago. Thank god for trash to treasure and Jewett since I get some really interesting stuff to work on. They were easy but it does take a little time to do the beading!
Now for a halloween project???? Trudy

Away again

Today I go to Wall,South Dakota for my family reunion. This is a three year event. we carry on for three days, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. the town has their annual event and celebration then. It is nice to see many old friends, those that I went to high school with and others.

I am the "registrar" for the reunion and we think that we will have 135 people there.

I return to RGV on the 17th and go to Wsconsin for one month on the 20th.

See you later Michaela
