Stitching on the Rio Grande

This blog is dedicated to the use of stitchers along the eastern Rio Grande Valley. We invite you to discuss your projects, ask questions, compare progress, announce new opportunities, and post your photos. Above all this should be a way to communicate and have fun.

Karen, in case your helper didn't tell you, please be sure to look at the comments as well as the postings.

Tuesday I worked on part E of Garden Gate and then went on to the next section. Looking back, I realized I had a mistake in E and had to take out what I put in. Oh well, some days are just like that.

  1. Thanks Jewett for the tip!!!

My 5 friends are looking at the Garden Gate. Zip for progress there but I'm real close to finishing the Chatelaine "Mediaeval Town Mandala".

  2. Thanks for the friendship, Ladies. Think I'm developing stitchers block - pick up a piece, stitch a few and put it down; start a new project, same thing. Perhaps a break is in order but don't know what I would do instead. Guess I'll get over this soon.

  3. Think i'm over it (more or less) as I spent time working on refinishing pillow tops stitched in the 70s ande 80s. A different approach to the same interest, righ.

  4. Martha hosted a great stitch-in today; those of you unable to be there were missed. As usual, friendship and stitching were the top priorities. Some stitched many stitches others stitched a few but all had a wonderful meal with sufficient food for twice the amount. robin
