Stitching on the Rio Grande

This blog is dedicated to the use of stitchers along the eastern Rio Grande Valley. We invite you to discuss your projects, ask questions, compare progress, announce new opportunities, and post your photos. Above all this should be a way to communicate and have fun.

Slackers

Isn't anybody down there doing anything? No one is posting. I finished "Two Cottages" and got it framed and have almost finished "Two Gingerbread Houses". That one will be finished tomorrow and then I am going back to Ode to Callaway and try to work some on it. I now have my "new"
used Dazor so I have light to work with. Boy does it make a difference.

Besides that I have painted faces on my nativity set and "completed ?" two paintings. One could use a lot more work, but not sure where to go next. Probably should stick to stitching.

  3. I must be taking the wrong kind of trips. I went somewhere three times this summer and still haven't finished one project!

  4. I brought only small projects with me, knowing I wouldn't get much stitching done while I'm visiting the grandkids. It's taking me 3 days to do 3 hours of backstitching on a 6 inch square for charity!!!
