Question Fot Queen Carolyn

What material do you use on the back of the paper/bead ornaments? I'm making a paper ornament and want to back it with something. Trudy

  1. Trudy - any light weight cotton works nicely... I've even used a light weight felt. Attach with a craft glue before cutting out design.. that way your fabric & perf paper will have nice matching edges. Carolyn will probably have other good suggestions.

  2. I usually use a heavier weight iron on interfacing. No glue necessary. I personally don't like the glue thing. My sister glues brown paper like from shopping bags. I never thought that was too good an idea. Years ago there was a natural color which was even better match, but now only white and black are available.
