Stitching on the Rio Grande

This blog is dedicated to the use of stitchers along the eastern Rio Grande Valley. We invite you to discuss your projects, ask questions, compare progress, announce new opportunities, and post your photos. Above all this should be a way to communicate and have fun.

Challenge

I have finished and photographed 7 of my 8 challenges.  Unless somethin changes, I don't intend touch the other one right now. Instead I have set 6 new challenges for myself.  I intend to do them before I touch anything else.  One of these days I'll and post these six and then try to keep up with my progress on the blog.  How about the rest of you?  When are you going to post again?

Tami's summer needlework

Here is what I have been doing this summer. I completed my second lesson in my Goldwork class which was two pieces that I had to stitch in silk. I also started in July doing a cross stitch guardian angel for my new Grandaughter. She is expected to arrive the end of October so I have to keep on task with this one.
I ahve my Lesson Three designed and the linen fabris framed and ready to start stitching this week.

Guess I finally got on. Too confusing for me. Wanted to comment that it's nice to have a big city shop in appearance to show all the great merchandise. Way to go Judy and her gang of workers. Lenore
