Stitching on the Rio Grande

This blog is dedicated to the use of stitchers along the eastern Rio Grande Valley. We invite you to discuss your projects, ask questions, compare progress, announce new opportunities, and post your photos. Above all this should be a way to communicate and have fun.

Tami's summer needlework

Here is what I have been doing this summer. I completed my second lesson in my Goldwork class which was two pieces that I had to stitch in silk. I also started in July doing a cross stitch guardian angel for my new Grandaughter. She is expected to arrive the end of October so I have to keep on task with this one.
I ahve my Lesson Three designed and the linen fabris framed and ready to start stitching this week.

  2. Your class pieces are lovely, especially knowing they are original designs - congratulations. You have really progressed quickly on your angel project.
