Stitching on the Rio Grande

This blog is dedicated to the use of stitchers along the eastern Rio Grande Valley. We invite you to discuss your projects, ask questions, compare progress, announce new opportunities, and post your photos. Above all this should be a way to communicate and have fun.

The Queen's Unfinished Projects for 2011

This is a pillow kit that a lady at church gave me. Very different from anything I have seen before. It is a European kit.

This is Carole Lake's Parlor Ribbons.

AND of course THE RUG!

This of course is my feeble start of FIVE FRIENDS.

This is Growth Rings from Ink Circles. Karen is also working on one just like mine. You KNOW who will be finished first, right?

This is from a Mill Hill Calendar series.

This also is from the same calendar series. I have Feb., March, and May completed.

Yes there are 12 in all!

This is the first of a set of three mini mandalas by Martina Weber.

This is a set of 9 eggs (yes 9 and I only have 3 1/2) by Annette Erickson.

This is a baby sampler for our 2nd grandson who was 1 yr. old last Oct.!

Need to get with it, right?

This of course is Pieces of Eight.

This is a piece called Glittering Diamonds by Gay Ann Rogers.

It was a mystery sampler with many alternatives.
